Quick Pitch:   Share Some Sugar is an online service that finds someone in your neighborhood who is willing to lend you something that you need. 
Genius Idea: Think of Share Some Sugar as a digital knock on the door. You can find things you need without spending a ton of money. Share Some Sugar allows you to do good, meet some neighbors, and save some money. 

Recently, Keara Schwartz (a local entrepreneur and part of our cw+ community) beta launched a web-based platform for sharing with your community.  

Community, and what it means to be a part of one, is a value at the core of the service. A quick search for the definition of the word brought me to this, a group of people living together in one plase, esp. one practicing common ownership. I read Keara’s inspirational story and realized that I want to be a part of a community like that. I think everyone does, and Share Some Sugar can help bring community back to neighborhoods.  

With a growing user community and more than 1700 items shared to date and an economy where people are looking for any way to save some cash, Share Some Sugar truly seems poised for a strong and exciting 2010!
