Greater Cincinnati Venture Association The Greater Cincinnati Venture Association (GCVA) was founded in 1985 to connect entrepreneurs and investors through monthly meetings. As the venture capital community developed in the region, the organization grew to over 150 members during the 1990s. During the evolution of the organization, it has reinvented the programming several times. The "new and improved" GCVA has returned to its roots to focus on entrepreneurs and startup opportunities and sustain the entrepreneurial culture in the region.
Cincinnati Innovates Cincinnati Innovates is an innovation competition that is open to anyone who has an innovation, idea, or invention and has a Greater Cincinnati connection. This competition is designed to showcase the technological, artistic, and ingenious innovations of all Cincinnatians - whether you are from Cincinnati originally or live or work in the Greater Cincinnati area (OH, IN, KY) now. All levels of technical expertise are welcome.
The Brandery The Brandery is a seed stage consumer marketing venture accelerator. We run a three-month-long program in Cincinnati, Ohio that is focused on turning your great idea into a successful, brand-driven start-up. Started in 2010, we annually select 5 companies for our program, with each receiving $20,000 in seed funding, three months of mentorship, and the opportunity to pitch to angel investors and venture capitalists at the end of the program.
